Woven Paper Heart Basket

This is a woven paper basket. In some countries it is used to decorate Christmas trees. It is a gift bag to present candies for kids. Of course the woven basket is an easy craft to make with minimum materials.

 

It looks more beautiful if we do it with two contrasting colors. I used it to store my tiny notes, spoons and forks.

Magazine Paper Vase

Here i'm going to introduce another paper craft. ie, paper vase made out of magazine papers. Paper weaving is used to make this vase.

This can be used as a pen stand and  a flower vase.

It is a pair of pink roses made out of satin ribbon.See the multiple use of a single vase, that too made without any cost.

Origami Heart Wreath

This heart wreath made using the triangular units. A total of 48 units have been used for this purpose. 24 white and 24 blue units.

 

Triangular units are inserted one after the other in a linear fashion alternating between the two colors chosen. First I made two curves of 24 units each and finally joined these two curves together to form a heart.

 

Paper Wreath & Basket

Going back to paper crafts. I have made a paper wreath. Since it resembles the dahlia flower, it is called Dahlia wreath. I made it using news papers. 

First we have to make the paper cones of different lengths and arrange it accordingly. I gave black and red colours to alternate layers. 

This is a basket made from newspapers. Here paper weaving is used for making it. Finally  coloured with red shade. Hope you liked this post too.

Sequins Work

Here is a sequins work I made. 3 hearts together with 2 different colors of sequins.

 

 

It is quite simple to make. Just draw the shape in a paper and cut without losing the structure and glue the sequins. Try it out..

Snowflakes

A snowflake is either a single ice crystal or an aggregation of ice crystals. We can do this with paper. There are lot of designs appears in paper snowflakes.

 

This was my attempt to make snowflake. if we use colored papers it will look more attractive.

Chinese Lantern

On a boring evening a spark of crafts came into my mind and I started for it with minimum items needed. It was my first attempt to the world of crafts. As a beginner I started with an easy one and it was the Chinese lantern. Even a small child can do it with little care.

 

 

I have chosen paper crafts since it is easily available and needed minimum items. It didn't take much time to finish it. The satisfaction on completion of my first craft was unimaginable.
