Origami Heart Wreath

This heart wreath made using the triangular units. A total of 48 units have been used for this purpose. 24 white and 24 blue units.

 

Triangular units are inserted one after the other in a linear fashion alternating between the two colors chosen. First I made two curves of 24 units each and finally joined these two curves together to form a heart.

 

Origami Poinsettia Flowers

Hi, Today i'm presenting you a combo of origami and quilling. I have made poinsettia flowers, it is also known as x'mas flowers.

The flower basket is a quilled one. I have used quilled semicircles for the basket. The origami red flowers and green leaves in black background makes it more beautiful.

3D Fish

It is an attempt to make a 3D object. 3D objects are made out of multiple pieces. Arranging this basic units makes the required object. So I tried a small and simple thing.

 

For this single object, it takes around 40 units of paper. Assembling these units together to form a fish is a risky and interesting job.

Origami Hearts

This post is regarding Origami hearts. First let us see how to do a wall hanging with this.

Here multiple hearts are stapled together to form star shaped structure. This can be hanged as a chain of hearts without forming the star shape.

Dahlia Flower & Origami Wreath

Transforming Star

Here is a star which will transform to a ring as well. I have done it with multiple colors. If you do it with 8 colors of paper it will look more beautiful.

 

If we push the tails slightly inwards it will form a ring shape structure.

Origami Dress

This is another exciting post of origami. This time I was spending time to make dresses with origami. see how cute it is..

 

It was a frock. Of course a party wear!!!  Next I tried a maid dress .let us see how is it..

 

 

You might be thinking that why only ladies wearing dress or what? definitely not. So here presenting a shirt, pants and a tie. They are 3 pieces and I glued it together.

Today I'm presenting you a nice creation with origami. its nothing but an umbrella. Since it is rainy season it will be more apt for the climate.

Origami Flowers

Today we can see some flowers made with origami. First I tried Lily flower.

 

 

Beautiful.. isn't it? It is interesting also to see the final product once we finished the job. Next is a Kusudama flower. Kusudama is a paper model that is usually created by sewing multiple identical pyramidal units together.

 

 

Next we will see a Rose flower. There are different ways to make rose. I adopted one of them.

Paper Butterfly

Then I moved to origami. It means 'folding paper'. Origami is the traditional Japanese art which started in the 17th century.The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use of cuts or glue are not considered to be origami. Paper cutting and gluing is usually considered kirigami.

My first origami experiment was butterflies. It is really looking good if we made with different colours of papers. If you find it out interesting and wish to make let me know. I will share the video link I used for it.
