Origami Flowers

Today we can see some flowers made with origami. First I tried Lily flower.

 

 

Beautiful.. isn't it? It is interesting also to see the final product once we finished the job. Next is a Kusudama flower. Kusudama is a paper model that is usually created by sewing multiple identical pyramidal units together.

 

 

Next we will see a Rose flower. There are different ways to make rose. I adopted one of them.

 

 

Finally a Tulip flower also I made. After seeing this post let me know your reviews. 

 

 

 

 

 

Straw Heart & Bracelet

My next trial was with drinking straws. That is also a cheap and easy available thing. you can make home decorations with this material.

 

The picture shows a heart made with straw. If you make the same with different colors of straws it will look awesome.

 

Next is a bracelet made out of the straw . For a bracelet you have to add more straws to extend the length.

Paper Butterfly

Then I moved to origami. It means 'folding paper'. Origami is the traditional Japanese art which started in the 17th century.The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use of cuts or glue are not considered to be origami. Paper cutting and gluing is usually considered kirigami.

My first origami experiment was butterflies. It is really looking good if we made with different colours of papers. If you find it out interesting and wish to make let me know. I will share the video link I used for it.

Chinese Lantern

On a boring evening a spark of crafts came into my mind and I started for it with minimum items needed. It was my first attempt to the world of crafts. As a beginner I started with an easy one and it was the Chinese lantern. Even a small child can do it with little care.

 

 

I have chosen paper crafts since it is easily available and needed minimum items. It didn't take much time to finish it. The satisfaction on completion of my first craft was unimaginable.
